School of Sports Studies

The School of Sports Studies at TransStadia University is mindfully designed to provide relevant, context-specific learning that focuses on the business of sports. This includes the science of sport, strategy, governance, management and marketing to name a few. These programs are customized keeping the need of the current sporting ecosystem in mind ensuring that the ecosystem around an athlete or a team is well equipped to provide practical decision making skills. We provide a holistic understanding to the student so that they can contribute meaningfully to the burgeoning sports industry.

This School also aims to provide a student athlete, actively competing, but wanting to continue with their studies, an environment conducive to working on both aspects simultaneously. Our students shall not be made to make a choice - sports or academics - they will be trained to manage both effectively.

Program Structure

As part of this program, students opt for courses each semester which comprise of:

• - 7 outcome-based courses
• - Additionally, students will be required to undergo a summer internship at the end of the 2nd Semester.
• - Research Projects in the 3rd and 4th Semester.
